Will is a multiple business owner with thirty years experience in building and leading SME’s in a broad range of sectors. He has a proven track record in scaling sales revenues to multimillion-pound levels. With a wealth of experience in strategic development and management under his belt, Will works with clients to improve the five main business functions: sales, marketing, operations, human resources and finance.
He’s passionate about empowering others to lead and succeed by providing the tools, support and confidence that successful business leadership and growth requires.
Starting his first business at the age of 19, Will learned very quickly just how difficult being ‘the boss’ can be. Despite being a highly qualified automotive technician, he quickly learned he would need a much wider range of skills to be successful, as well as the mental resolve to keep on going under the pressure of having to make ends meet.
Over the following five years, and involvement in several other businesses from financial services to estate agency, Will took on his family’s export business, along with the undertaking to meet the financial demands of the wider shareholder group.
Having earlier reached the conclusion that more skills were required, he enrolled for a university degree in business and accounting, studying each evening and running the business during the day.
Over the following decade, Will scaled the business to seven figure annual revenues while implementing a lean model to maximise profitability. Although he retains a range of
business interests, Will now spends his time working with business owners in his local community, guiding them to achieve the life their hard work deserves.
His big learning? All businesses are different, but their success is governed by the same principles surrounding time efficiency, team effectiveness and robust money management, principles that form the basis of the globally proven and award winning ActionCOACH system.
